Anna Silk was born in January 1974. The most famous role she has played is Bo who is from the Showcase's Lost Girl television series. Silk was born in Fredericton New Brunswick, Canada. Ilkay is the producer and director of the drama in St. Thomas University, is Silk's mother. Silk's father Peter is an academic. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. The actress announced her pregnancy to the fans in her Showcase Season Three pre-show special on January 6, 2013. Silk tweeted on June 20, 2013 to announce that she was ready to return to work. On June 4, 2013, Showcase and Prodigy Pictures officially revealed the launch of production for the fourth season.
